Round 3!

I'm having a bit of a bad hair day, today! I bought 2 boxes of L'oreal Feria's 'Mango Intense Copper' hair dye yesterday, in the hopes that my hair would resemble that of the woman on the box! I did a strand test last night, and it did sweet fuck all to my current vegetable dyed colour. It was a nice shade of red, when dyed, however the ends are still pretty dark, and once the colour fades, the dark ends show through as a pretty dodgy brown/orange colour.
My hair was black previously and I bleached it after using a Hair Colour Remover. This lightened it a hell of a light, but obviously left the roots a lot lighter than the ends. I've been bleaching my roots since, and putting Directions Hair colours over my whole head.
After using Hair Colour Remover this time to get rid of the red, my hair looked like the vomit of a tie-dye clad hippy. Por ejemplo

Yuck! After that I used the L'oreal Feria stuff, and my hair went a drab looking ginge. So, I'm sat here with a few combinations of Directions hair colours and Crazy Colours smothered all over my head. It's only 3:40pm but it feels more like 7pm. So much for giving myself a mini make-over! I'm going to see what condition it's in, before I decide to hack it off or not!

So hopefully it'll still look the way it does in the above photo (I'm the mop of hair harassing the cat). Failing that I'll hack it all off in a bid to look like Robyn Tunney as Debra in 'Empire Records', complete with the nose ring and (pretend) bad ass attitude.

Or p'raps not. I haven't got a face lovely enough to suit being bald.
