Some things that have happened

This month has been lovely. It is a relief to have a steady job. I don't have enough hours, but this does permit me a few days in the week (never the weekend!) during which to see my beloved friends. I was underpaid last month, so I should be receiving that at the end of this month. Also, I've been selling tonnes of my old clothes (weep) on ebay, as a fund for a new tattoo. Here are some images that sum up this month (so far!)

Summer days with my cat bag.

Amy encouraged me to purchase this magnificent shell plate.
It's currently covered in hair clips, but I may remove them,
as you cannot see just how beautiful the glittery surface is.

I was naughty and purchased 2 new pairs of summer-friendly shoes.
In total they came to £30. I am always racked with retail guilt, these days.

My beautiful friends and I went out, and had an epic dance session.

My hair went from this...
(that is a light sabre, bubble wand, by the way, not a dildo!)

To a ribena-coloured work in progress.

I have been very lazy of late and suffering form some sort of mid-life crisis, during which I decided to try and dye my hair turquoise-blue, which turned into a bit of a disaster. I wound up with dark turquoise down to my ears, and dark bottle green for the rest. It was pretty nice, but I immediately missed the bright red. Now, I'm a kind of purple-red-pink shade, which will hopefully fade to red (with the help of some Vosene). Turquoise Mermaid dreams are firmly on hold for now.
In other news, here are some things I am coveting.

This amazing hound tooth backpack from ASOS
(it reminds me of No Doubt's 'Rock Steady', super-ska days)

Irregular Choice Poodle Skirt
It's currently in the sale, but is too expensive for me to purchase, sadly.

I love this strawberry print dress from Harajuku Hearts
I'd feel like a Sweet Lolita princess in this!

I cannot remember where the eff I found this, but it is glorious,
and a worthy exception to my 'no one shoulder dress' rule.

Peter Jensen Watermelon Bag that was sold by Tatty Devine ages ago.
Unfortunately for me, they don't still sell it. I wish I'd purchased it while I had the chance

My lovely friend Amy found these Lilley and Skinner beauties on ebay....
but I had to leave the house and they sold! Forever disappointed.
